What is the life of an IT employee after being fired from a company...

Let me tell you my personal experience when company fired me & ask me to left the job on same day.

That was my 2nd company of career. The first company was good but no growth with career, financial & skill sets.

I had three years of experience when I joined the 2nd company. The company was CMM level 3 & completed seven months with that company.

Once during the weekend, I was checking my emails and found an email regarding a job opportunity. I open that link, it gets redirect me to timesjobs.

I had an account on that website but disabled it intentionally. In second company policy, they strictly specified that employee could not keep profile active on job seeker website. So I disabled it from all site like Naukri, Monster, Timesjob, etc..

Ok, So when I open that link then it asks me to log in and activate the account. I did just to submit my information & latest resume for that opportunity without any fear.

Next day was Monday, I reached office and start my daily routine work. Around 3 pm, HR come to my desk and ask me why you did that? I was confused with her question. I said pardon. She replied Team leader would talk with you!!

I said, okay!!

At 4 pm, Business Manager comes close to my desk and ask me to take have small talk. During the conversation, he asked my why you activate your timesjob account? Then I understand why all these things are happening with me.

I frankly tell him about why I did that. After completion of discussion, in 15 mins got an email from my HR. You need to write a resignation letter and send it to us.

I was in shocked and don't get what's wrong. If they would instruct me to deactivate an account, then I had no problem, but without finding any solution ask me to resign.

At 5.30pm, I left the office with my resignation letter & met with my colleagues said bye to them. After some investigation, I found that HR daily check the timesjobs backend dashboard as they had purchased some sort of subscription from them to get latest submitted resume. My resume found on that list.

I was totally in shock mode, don't get what to do next, still, somehow I manage my self. I started submitting my resume in different job portal, but I don't want to leave my home town Nagpur.

Lots of job opportunities are in metro cities but I was not much attracted towards it. From starting of my career, I want to be at home, not to leave it just for the job. So I was looking job in Nagpur it self but In Nagpur don't have many IT companies.

After a week didn't get a single call for the job but got a call from first company. One of my old colleague discussed about my job seeking to first boss of the company.

The boss of first company offered me the job to rejoin again, So I asked him to give me time to think. After two days I called him and said ready to join. I was aware of that don't have bright future with the company still with fear of no job in hand I decided to accede to the enterprise.

My career again started with less hope of bright future, but during the work, I was inspired by few entrepreneurs by reading their blogs & stories. I started things to initiate the own company.
